Command Line Chart

The chart below lists the commands that can be entered into public and private text chat.
All commands are preceeded by two @ symbols at the start of the text line.
Different commands are available depending on whether you enter as a Guest, 'Signed In', or the meeting 'Moderator' (at present the meeting 'booker').

Additional Moderator Commands targeting individuals

In addition to the commands above, moderators of a meeting can use the commands listed in the table below. We do not allow moderators to change users votes, etc. We only permit commands that make sense for support functions. For functions targeting other users, type the command into the private chat of the target person.

Some commands make sense for support functions for all users. For functions targeting ALL users, type the command into the public chat.

IMPORTANT Etiquette: Moderators are advised to use 'All' commands sparingly and ideally when 'Broadcasting' so that they can explain to others what is happening.

Other commands:

### - Insert a non silent annotation, type at the start of a chat line to create a time-stamped annotation that will appear in the text chat and in the meeting replay. Can also use @@a command (see above).
*** - Insert a silent annotation, type at the start of a chat line to create a time-stamped annotation that will appear in the meeting replay but NOT in the text chat. Can also use @@as command (see above).

Page Up and Down Keys mimic clicking the Broadcast button.
Mute/Un-mute your own microphone by clicking on the Audio button in prefs while holding down the 'm' key.
Hold down Ctrl key and click on a person's thumbnail to force them to Broadcast (works only when you're Broadcasting).
Hold down Alt key and click on a person's thumbnail to 'kick' a person (works only if you booked the meeting).
